Jen Brown was born in Provo, Utah. She attended Woods Cross High School and then graduated from Weber State University in microbiology. She moved to Omaha, Nebraska to attend Creighton Dental School. She graduated in 2004 and then moved with her husband Mike back to Bountiful. They have five boys which are the purpose and joy of their lives.

Carolyn Phippen came to Utah from New York to study political science at BYU. She served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in what was, at the time, the newly-formed Czechoslovakia, Prague Mission.

The oldest of six children, Lonnie was raised in Alaska where he spent the first 30 years of life with the rest of his siblings. His wife, Pamela, and he are proud parents of 10 children. They have 28 grandchildren.
